A freshly decorated bedroom deserves a floor that feels just as considered as the walls, woodwork and finishing touches. For this York home, the brief was simple: keep the room calm, soft and comfortable, while choosing a carpet that worked naturally with the new colour scheme.
Mederna Elite in Stone was fitted to complete the space. The soft neutral tone sits beautifully against the deeper wall colour and matching painted skirting, helping the room feel balanced rather than too dark or too plain.
In a bedroom, carpet makes a big difference to the feel of the room. It softens the acoustics, adds warmth underfoot and creates that more relaxed finish you want in a space designed for rest. The Stone shade was a great choice here because it brings lightness to the floor without clashing with the bolder wall colour.
