Cottage Carpet Fitting in Horsforth

This Horsforth cottage project was all about bringing warmth, softness and a finished feel back into the home.
With character properties, the flooring needs to work with the shape and feel of the building rather than fight against it. The stairs, landing and bedroom areas all had their own details to consider, from narrow stair sections and turns to door thresholds and different room layouts.


A neutral carpet was fitted throughout to keep the space calm and consistent. The colour sits naturally alongside the white woodwork, wooden doors and cottage-style features, giving the home a softer look without making it feel too dark or heavy.

On the staircase, the carpet adds comfort and grip underfoot while helping to reduce noise through the home. Across the landing and bedroom, it creates a cosy finish that feels especially suited to this type of property.

This was the final flooring stage of the cottage project, tying the upstairs spaces together and giving the home that properly completed feel.
