Recent Work: Wool-Look Stair Carpet Fitted

This Doncaster project was all about choosing a carpet that could handle one of the hardest-working areas of the home without losing that warm, natural look.
The customer wanted something practical for the stairs and landing, but still soft and inviting underfoot. Stairs take a lot of daily wear, so the right carpet needed to feel comfortable, look smart, and be up to the job long term.
We fitted Country Collection, an easy-clean carpet with the appearance and texture of wool. It has a lovely natural fleck running through it, which gives the staircase plenty of character while also helping to disguise the little marks that can come with everyday family life.
The neutral tone works really well against the white walls and wood handrail, keeping the space bright while adding warmth and texture. On the stairs, the finish gives a neat, tailored look, with the ribbed detail running cleanly across each tread and riser.
This type of carpet is a great choice for busy homes because it gives the wool-style finish many customers love, but with the added benefit of easy maintenance. It is practical, comfortable and well suited to high-traffic areas like stairs, landings and hallways.
A simple but effective update that makes the whole staircase feel fresher, softer and more homely.
