the right vinyl
Consider the room
Vinyl is water-resistant and easy to mop, which makes it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms as well as hallways and bedrooms.
Think about width
Our vinyl comes in 2m, 3m and 4m widths. Choosing a width that covers the room in one piece avoids joins and gives a neater finish.
Think about comfort
Thicker vinyl with a felt backing feels softer and warmer underfoot. Mega-Tex, at 3.8mm, is the most cushioned in the sale.

Which vinyl floors are in the Black Friday sale?
All of them. There is an extra 10% off all the vinyl flooring we sell, including Mega-Tex, Power-Tex and My Style, each available in a range of designs.
How much does vinyl flooring cost in the Black Friday sale?
You get an extra 10% off our outlet prices, which are already up to 33% below the RRP. Vinyl prices start from £9.99/m² before the extra 10% comes off. Your total depends on the width you need and the length cut from the roll.
What is the difference between vinyl and LVT?
Vinyl flooring comes on a roll and is fitted in one piece, so it is quick to lay and has few or no joins. LVT is made of individual planks or tiles that are stuck down for a more realistic wood or stone look. Vinyl is usually the lower-cost option. To compare, see our Black Friday LVT deals.
Is vinyl flooring suitable for kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. Vinyl is water-resistant, easy to mop and comfortable underfoot, which is why it is so popular for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. All three ranges on this page are suitable for those rooms.
Which width of vinyl flooring do I need?
Our vinyl comes in 2m, 3m and 4m widths. Choose the width that covers your room in one piece wherever possible, so there are no joins. Measure at the widest points, including doorways, and add about 10cm each way for trimming.
Which vinyl is the most comfortable underfoot?
Thicker vinyl with a felt backing feels softer and warmer. Mega-Tex is the thickest in the sale at 3.8mm with a thick felt backing, Power-Tex is 2.5mm and My Style is 2.3mm.
Do I need underlay under vinyl flooring?
No. Felt-backed vinyl is laid straight onto the subfloor. The floor underneath must be smooth, clean and dry, because bumps and gaps can show through. Uneven floorboards are usually covered with plywood first.
Can I take Black Friday vinyl flooring away the same day?
Often, yes. Many vinyl floors are in stock at our Dewsbury and Halifax showrooms to take away the same day, so bring your room measurements with you. Both showrooms also carry vinyl roll ends, which can be ideal for a bathroom or cloakroom.
How long do the Black Friday vinyl deals last?
The extra 10% off vinyl flooring runs until Monday 30 November. Popular lines may sell out before then, so don’t leave it too late.
